Manufactured in Melbourne, MIL-Solar Eclipse inverters are designed and made in Australia, for Australian conditions.
One of the interesting features of the Eclipse are front-facing cooling fins that increase airflow, which the company says enables full power generation across an extended ambient temperature range.
As with most inverters these days, the Eclipse incorporates dual MPP tracking (MPPT) functions, providing some flexibility in system layout.
These 5kW inverters are manufactured by Mil-Systems, a family owned business that has been around since 1985 and has specialised in power equipment for military projects. So, they have an idea on how to make stuff that lasts.
Eclipse solar inverters are accompanied by a 5 year comprehensive warranty, and a 5 year extended parts and labour warranty is available - a total of 10 years support.
